Friendly people, the BEST bulk selection, usually very good produce (local when available), a selection of dairy and eggs as well as vegan alternatives. Mask friendly with mask only hours for those at risk. Prices (especially for "non-prepared" foods) are really good.

For the people mart Lincoln or. Stop by to pickup oil for my RV, the clerk there on Sunday March 1st,2026 9.25 am, told me a quart of oil was 15.00 dollars. I know this wasn't true and I told him so and walked out.

I love this little store for some vegan choices I can't find elsewhere. Great drinks selection including CBD sodas and I personally love that they have a clean (vegan, no MSG) natto which I struggle to find elsewhere. Also a big selection of "live" foods like sauerkrauts and fermented sea vegetables. Beautiful produce and an incredible bulk section.

Despite the name, there’s a severe lack of food for here for working people who do not have access to a full kitchen + pantry storage + time to cook full meals. The one good section, the produce, is often not ripe + requires storage. I believe this is by design to keep homeless people away. This is just a place that’s shares the profits between employees, so their goal is to make profits like any other grocery store. It’s not “for the people” unless you work there. Otherwise it’s just very expensive + lacking in many departments. Permanently printing mask only hours on the door is great, but the masks provided do nothing. This is performative, but I see that lots of the bad ratings are due to this policy, so good on you for making the many NIMBYs in the area uncomfortable! Star for that Grocery stores will be nationalized + all profits will go to the workers after WWIII is over 🙏🏻

The bulk section is wonderful and has had pretty much every obscure herb I’ve ever wanted. The produce is wonderful and at times even downright impressive. The staff are very kind and wear masks to help keep community members safe and healthy. They carry a very nice puerh tea. I love this place!
