See we bought our first Toyota here in ‘05, we had to bring her in for service, she has over 300,000+ miles on her! You take care of them, they take care of you!
Back to Caitlin! We were thinking of getting a new car, it was time, so I thought while our old girl was in the shop, i would look!
So, my service tech Jack Lord! Another super star! introduced me to Caitlin!
We looked at the two vehicles I had in mind! A Rav or a Camry! I loved them both, waited to drive the Camry for when my husband was avail. because his comfort is key!
Caitlin understood! She was very understanding to MY needs w budget, she was NOT pushy, she let me and my husband do our talking and thinking! I’ll be honest, our car purchase took 2-3 days… our fault, our hesitation! But Caitlin was very patient, very understanding!
Such an easy car buying process!

Amazing experience buying a brand new 2026 RAV4 Limited. Bryant McDaniel responded to an inquiry I made online to express interest, and not only did he call me immediately, he found the car we were looking for. I have never worked with anyone before like Bryant. His customer service skills are outstanding and he really cares. Rare to find these days when buying a car, especially when it’s a car/model that’s highly sought after. Bryant took care of everything, from the extra add ons, to finding the best interest rate, to the final walk around and test drive. We can’t thank you enough, Bryant. We are definitely going to shift all our business over to Ron Tonkin, and we live down the street from Broadway, so that’s how good it is over there. Great all around experience and we could not be happier! Matt and Tomy!

I have never experienced such dishonest and unprofessional behavior from a dealership. By far the worst experience I have ever had at a car dealership.
I test drove a vehicle and was explicitly told I had “first dibs” on it. While I was still finishing the test drive and actively discussing next steps, they were already inside selling it to someone else. By the time I walked back in, another customer was signing paperwork.
Meanwhile, my husband was already on his way to the dealership to look at that same vehicle based on what we were told.
It gets worse. We were also interested in a second vehicle. They told me it was at another location. When my husband called that location directly, we were informed it had already been sold.
So either this dealership does not communicate internally at even the most basic level, or they intentionally mislead customers to keep them on the hook. Neither is acceptable.
If you value honesty, transparency, and basic respect for your time, I would strongly recommend shopping elsewhere.

I bought a new vehicle at Ron Tonkin Toyota and traded in my old vehicle; the first time I've bought from them (even though I've bought from their adjoining Mazda dealership before). I have bought and sold a lot of cars in recent years, with some good and some bad experiences, but this experience was fantastic. The sales person I worked with, Caitlin, was absolutely fantastic, easily the best car sales person I've ever worked with. She was able to answer ALL of my nuanced questions about the differences between different trim levels, options, packages, how the features worked, best practices for best results. She was amazing. She was able to speak to their inventory and show me various comparable vehicles to what I was looking for and made great suggestions. She was able to easily answer my up-front questions about finance options as well. Again, she was easily the best car sales person I've ever worked with and she was very knowledgeable. After many car transactions over the years, this positive experience with everything at Ron Tonkin Toyota, but especially their transparent process and excellent sales people like Caitlin, I would try to buy future vehicles with them as well. Financing was also straightforward and they gave me a fair trade-in price without me having to fight against a lowball offer. They explained everything at every step as good or better as any dealership I've ever worked with. And I have bought cars from many dealerships around the Portland area.

Caitlin was awesome...not pushy just helpful. She listened to us. Joe and Caitlin both worked hard to make sure we were happy. ... We ended up with the coolest 2025 RAV4 that was beyond our dreams.
