I'm a small business owner and never leave bad reviews, but I'm making an exception. Very long story short, I have good insurance and used it to repair my car at refinishing touch. Insurance wouldn't cover cost of full cost of repairs due to charges that weren't valid. Mike wouldn't release my car unless I paid the difference up front. He repeatedly told me to file a claim with the OR department of insurance. After months of bugging both Mike and insurance to try to get them to figure it out, I filed a claim. ODI investigated and sided with the insurance company, and Mike left me with the out of pocked overages.

I was unhappy with the service that I received because I paid nearly $1000 for a bumper repair where Mike added these stitches to my bumper without any kind of communication or check-in with me first. The 'drifter's stitch' is not a standard repair , and he should have talked to me first instead of surprising me with it. The bumper looked better prior to this 'repair', and everyone who saw it has laughed at me. I was able to completely replace the bumper myself in an afternoon with my dad and a Youtube tutorial for one third the price and far better results. Save your money and go elsewhere.

My Jaguar F-Type was damaged when someone hit the left quarter panel. No problem for Mike and Refinishing Touch. They did an absolutely amazing job matching the paint and repairing the damage. Highly professional, skilled, and friendly. If I need more work done I will go back to this shop. Thanks Mike !

Bought a new grille because I don't like the stock grille for my vehicle very much. After watching videos and reading about what that would entail, I decided I'd rather pay for a pro to make the swap rather than spending half my weekend and maybe get it right. First I got a quote from the dealership and of course they gave me a bloated estimate and I also would have to take time off from work since they're only open Monday through Friday with bankers hours. Then I checked out Refinishing Touch, which is just down the road from my workplace and met with Mike who gave me a decent estimate. Finally, just to be sure I was going to make a wise decision, I made contact with one more local body shop and their estimate was almost twice as much and didn't seem to be as organized as RT. So I set the appointment with Mike and got in the very next day. Let me tell you that, yes the convenience of being next to my work was definitely a bonus but after dealing with these guys, I will now go with them no matter where they're located. I mentioned to Mike that I was going to want to black out the chrome strip on the secondary/lower grille to match the new one and so while they had my front bumper off for the swap, they detached the chrome strip so that I could then paint it myself so much easier. Then when I'm done I can simply snap it back on. That's going above and beyond and shows thoughtfulness. Very pleased and cannot recommend enough.

They did a wonderful job on my Tacoma. Took a little longer then expected at first. But it was worth having it done right. Every piece of my bumper was broken. Had to have lights replaced. Overall good experience and would recommend.
