Likely the best experience with an auto mechanic in the Portland metro area that I've had in the 4 years of living here. Martin was great at explaining to me the inner workings of my car, but not in a condescending or scolding way most auto mechanics typically speak to me. Both Martin and Carla are easy to communicate with and kind. I needed a new drive belt, oil change, and alignment and felt like I paid a reasonable price and had it back within hours.

I took my car to Paradise Auto three months ago because it started overheating and the AC stopped working. Martin told me it would cost $1,880 to fix, and I agreed. After reviewing the invoice, I felt overcharged for both labor and parts. Martin said the car would take four days, but I got it back in two. It felt rushed, and within three days it started making weird air noises when I drove or turned it off. I had to bring it back and go a week without a car just for Martin to fix the noise. Then two months later, my car had more problems. Martin told me the hoses needed to be replaced and wanted $450. I refused, checked it myself, and replaced the hose for only $10 in a couple of minutes. I feel like Martin took advantage of me and my situation. After spending nearly $1,900 at his shop, he couldn't take two minutes to fix a simple $10 part. He wasted my time, didn't make me a priority, and was rude with unnecessary comments. Save yourself the time and headache DON'T go to Paradise Auto.

I've been a customer of Paradise Auto for 25 years. They have always been awesome. Martin and Carla are the best. I need to have some work done soon on an older car and they are the only shop I would consider.

Martin is a great guy and mechanic! He is honest, trustworthy, fast service, and doesn't price gouge. Highly recommend Paradise Auto. Thank you, Martin & Carla!

I first went to Paradise 7 years ago when we lived close-by, and although we now live 35 miles away we still take our vehicles there. Martin, Carla and their team always provide great service for our cars and trucks. They even found a faulty brake repair from a local Subaru dealer years ago which the dealer then corrected with new parts. I never need to question why Martin recommends something and we've trusted Paradise with many vehicles over the years...they are consistently good. I've recommend Paradise to friends and family and continue to hear good reports.
