Edited after reply from owner. Rude staff. I read into other reviews after leaving the store and feeling completely disregarded and eye rolled upon. People comment about being talked down to and humiliated, it's true, it's definitely a vibe here. If that's what you're looking for in a place to spend your money, this is your store. This review was completely based off of the dark haired, middle aged woman working the front counter, no one else and not because there was an overwhelming amount of foot traffic. She is very brash, unwelcoming and pretentious yet super friendly and over bubbly to others. I've been around the block, can read a room and know what time it is. Read other one star reviews for further clarification. I will absolutely not be returning here but I do appreciate the owner reaching out to make things right. Hopefully the woman behind the counter will have a change of heart and start treating everyone as though we are all human.

This place rocks. Genuine care goes into personalized details about every piece. Staff were helpful and friendly. There's good every day stuff but also tremendous finds for a party or event

i have a somewhat unnecessary destain for vintage stores that pad out their inventory with new items but i found hardly any examples of that here with many beautiful pieces that i would drop the money they are worth on a little too fast if i had room in my suitcase (purple leather jacket i will dream of u

You can call it "vintage", but the goods here appear to have aged like a fine wine; everything on the racks was immaculate and stylish, with a retro flair. Magpie also boasts a strikingly sizeable selection of menswear and accessories, which I am not used to seeing. Prices are on the higher end, but are proportionate with they quality of the garments. Unlike the corvids for which this shop is named, you won't have to pick through the muck to find the shinies at Magpie!
