This is one of my favorite shops in Multnomah Village. Jay and Peter do a great job of making you feel welcome the minute you walk in. The store is filled with practical houseware items that are often colorful, eclectic, and well designed. They are also actively engaged in the business association and the community. For the past six years, they’ve been a great addition to the village..
I’ve never experienced such a well curated shop, so well thought out with lots of Oregon products! Best place for thoughtful gifts you’d love to give! I’m going back for the tea infuser and locally-made jewelry
Love supporting local small businesses. Stopped in the other day in hopes of finding a new piece of jewelry, and ended up telling myself I could only get 2 new pieces today. So many beautiful options. But the truly amazing thing was when I went to dinner wearing the earrings I purchased and the hostess noticed them and asked if I had purchased them at JP General. She made the gorgeous earrings I was wearing. Shopping local doesn’t only support the business owner it supports the community. Thank you JP General for supporting our community!
I bought a beautiful ring in December and went back in to buy some matching earrings. Before I was able to focus on the jewelry, I absolutely fell in love with a cute Italian bag. I had a hard time deciding on which color bag to get and one of the owners provided perfect assistance and suggestions that let me leave the store beaming as I had just found that perfect and unique little bag. This is a beautiful store with incredibly attentive, knowledgeable and charming owners. As a European, I love their selection of personal, household goods as well as gifts. Must visit in Portland!
Great shop! Lots of unique gifts. Wonderful shop owners who are giving proceeds of sales between now and Thanksgiving, 2021 to Meals on Wheels. I love the gardening section. Will definitely visit this shop again!
