The owner is super friendly and will happily give you book suggesting in whatever genre you are looking for. It feels like the owners goes out of their way to make this a safe place for everyone, because while I was visiting multiple people just came in to chat with the owner and even hang out in the reading area. I truly love that there is a wide section of LGBTQ+ books in every genre they carry! Lastly, the prices are great! If you get new books they are cover price (very reasonable), but if you get used books they are half the original price unless otherwise stated, which a great deal! I would say if you want to support an independent bookstore this is a wonderful one to support. 10/10, will recommend!

This is hands down my favorite bookstore. Lori (owner) always creates the most warm and welcome space. She has amazing recommendations and what she doesn't have, she will get for you. Additionally she also hosts bookclubs. I have attended the queer romance bookclub and adore the folks in the bookclub and so appreciate the work that Lori does to curate a warm, welcoming and supportive environment. I can't recommend this store enough.

Jan's and Arcade Book Exchange was so cute and had such an amazing variety of books! It was a nice cozy Bookshop that made you want to spend hours looking over every shelf. Lori is also the sweetest owner as she genuinely cares about each of her readers and the experience they have finding the perfect books! Be sure to check her bookstore out as you won't be disappointed!

My favorite hidden gem in downtown Hillsboro! The owner, Lori, is incredible, and you never know what gently used books you’ll find here! Lori can also special order new releases for you, and trust me, it feels so much better to support small businesses over Amazon :)

This place was recommended to us by an employee at Powell’s Cedar. Was a great stop on my birthday bookstore crawl! They had great prices and a wide range of books both new and used. Super friendly staff and very helpful! Great book of the month and special edition section.
