I ordered for delivery not expecting much but knowing Portland I knew I wouldn’t be disappointed, just wow everything I had was beyond my expectations. The fancy Maggie cake is the best blueberry pancake I’ve ever had. I can taste the attention to detail in every bite. It’s just a good perfectly executed brunch place. Those cheesy grist’s are my new favorite side dish.

More reviews on GoogleGreat breakfast spot on Hawthorne. Cool atmosphere with a lot of local artwork on the walls for sell. Coffee was outstanding and my Huevos Rancheros was super flavorful. The house-made hot sauce was great and so was the Jam. My wife's Kimchi Hash was delicious as well. Would definitely go back, especially to try the Bloody Mary.
I ordered the Kimchi Hash, and if you're a kimchi lover, this is an easy choice. The kimchi is flavorful with just the right amount of tang and spice, and it pairs perfectly with the crispy potatoes. The eggs on top pull everything together, and the sauce adds a nice finishing touch without overpowering the dish. The portion is generous and very satisfying. The interior is also a fun surprise-paper snowflake decorations hanging from the ceiling and colorful wall art give the place a warm, playtul vibe that makes brunch feel relaxed and enjoyable.
Bit pricey especially for the small portions, but food was pretty good! Be prepared for a wait, we came at 1pm on a sunday and waited around 30 minutes. The homemade jam was delicious. Got the hash brown Bennie and kale and shiitake Benedict. Service is great and ambience is nice. Tried the pistachio cardomom latte, but personally disliked it as the cardomom flavor was too strong.
Came here for a little solo brunch last week and it was so delicious. I've been comparing basic breakfast plates around Portland and this one was the most expensive I'd had so far at $15.50, but it was high quality and eggs cooked perfectly over medium as requested. I will say, it's not the best place for a cozy solo brunch as it's very busy, loud, and bustling, and I was seated at a 4-top by myself, but I would recommend it for a date or small group for sure. The Halloween decorations were super fun too and it's in a gorgeous neighborhood!
