I leased a vehicle from Courtesy Ford and purchased an expensive windshield coating that gave me insurance coverage for rock chips and windshield replacement. Jan 5: I noticed a rock chip Jan 6: initial visit, photos were taken, phone number taken Jan 22: 2 weeks later I called to follow up, I was told the manager (Rob) is the one who has access to the system, that he was not available but they would ask him to call me Jan 24: I called and spoke to Rob, he stated he would look into it and call me in a few minutes, he did not call back Jan 29, 9:45AM: I called and asked for an update from Rob. He stated he needed to finish and task and would call me in 40 minutes, my phone number was confirmed again. I did not receive a call back Jan 29, 1:30PM: I called and spoke to someone who told me the Manager was at lunch and would call me back when he was finished, I did not received a call back Jan 29, 3:45PM: I called and was sent to voicemail, message left asking Rob to give me an update. 1/29, 4:45PM: I received a call from Rob and was FINALLY given an update about my claim and solution for the rock chip. Waiting more than three weeks for an update on a claim for a service the dealership provides is not acceptable, neither is the lack of communication or professionalism. A customer should not have to call this many times and run into these many roadblocks. If I decide to lease another Ford vehicle it will not be at this location, so much for courtesy.

I had a super positive experience at Courtesy Ford Collision here in Portland this week. We got off to a slow start on a recall issue, two weeks passing before I got a single reply. I returned Friday insistent we had to fix it regardless of whether it was a warranty issue or not. The store manager promptly got the vehicle in, fixed it the same afternoon, didn’t charge us anything. This is what customer service (and loyalty) looks like. Excellent work. 🙌

I bought my brand new 2023 For Escape through Courtesy Ford. On May 23rd, someone ran a stop sign and hit my new car. That person was driving a rental car and after about a week or two, I was able to get the rental companies insurance to pay for my repairs. It took for 6 weeks repair my vehicle but it definitely wasn't their fault. The insurance company was trying to negotiate the rate of labor and refused to pay the asking rate. When I told Ford that I'll pay the difference, they got on my car immediately. Sadly, the repairs took longer then expected due to it being in the middle of the software cyber attack which made the job so much harder for them. They kept me and the insurance company in the loop the whole time. My headlamp took the longest to arrive but once it came, I was able to pick up my vehicle a few days later. My vehicle looks brand new. It looks better then I expected. I kept preparing myself, saying that it's never look the same, be the same, or drive the same. I was wrong. It drives like a new car, it looks like a new car. They did a very astounding job. I'm soooo glad I chose Courtesy Ford Collision to repair my vehicle. Courtesy Ford was where I bought my car so I knew they'd know how to put it together and they are trained licensed professionals. They don't just know what they are doing but I believe had to go to school or prove that they know what they are doing. They are not just done hack getting paid for a hack job to put a car together with trash parts. They even put my car back together with parts straight from the manufacturer. Avoid this place like the plague! I purchased a new Ford Expedition, noticed there was a paint defect on the bumper and was directed to the collision center at Courtesy because it would have to be paint matched. Seen the manager Antonio on November 2, 2021 and he didn't seem to really want to do it and gave me some explanation of it taking awhile to get done because Ford only allows them so long between getting the parts and making the repair to get paid....I don't know, not my field, I just want the warranty item I paid for repaired so he promises it will be done by 11/23 and I say fine. 11/23 /21 comes and I've not heard from anyone so I call and send emails....12/27/21 comes and I've not heard from anyone so I call and send emails....1/28/22 comes and I call and send emails.....2/20/22 comes and I call and send emails and speak to the service manager as well who talks to Antonio the collision center manager and they say he's finally got it ordered and he'll call me when it's in.....3/18/22 I get a call from the Service Manager saying it's ready and Antonio should call me Monday to schedule a time to get it done.....you might have guessed from this review that Monday came and went and I've heard zero from Antonio and it's now 4/2/22. After leaving the Service Manager Kerry a voicemail, sending Antonio another email, speaking to Travis the sales manager and hearing from Gary the other manager there is supposedly an urgent email for them to contact me Monday.......any bets at this point on Monday?
