The receiver on my 2017 Toyota Highlander hybrid died. The folks at Stereo King on 82nd fixed me right up. I was wanting a clean new interface with CarPlay and premium sound. Without pressuring me, they listened intently to what I was after and delivered. Connor, Rich, Corey, Mike, and finally Jason all were involved in my project. All of them were professional , friendly, and patient.
To get the sound I was after, I landed on a Kenwood reference receiver, upgraded six speakers, and added sound deadening material in the doors… that was phase one. Phase two brought an 8 channel amplifier with a built-in DSP. That was the game changer. Jason put the final tuning on my system and it is righteous! Jason’s “ear” is next level and I now have the sound system I had hoped for.
The folks at Stereo King stood tall on my car stereo upgrade. I highly encourage you to consider them first for your car stereo needs. Like me, you’ll be glad you did.

For the first time ever I left a stereo store happy:) all the way around. I was completely okay with the price and quality was exactly what I was going for. The way they were selling wasn’t pushy or greedy. They installed a light bar on my jeep for a decent price and looks awesome. The guy angled it down so I was able to see clearly going up a hill. The subwoofer I bought sounded crazy loud. I’m buying a second one today:) I’ll be sending my co worker to get an amp from these guys! Conner,Jason and Tiffany worked well as a team and I’ll definitely be back again:) I’m here for the third time in a week and once again leaving pleased.
Anthony and the team at the 82nd shop took care of me from start to finish. I came to them with my 1987 Pontiac Fiero GT which had a stock stereo unit that needed work to repair the tape head on the cassette player. Anthony suggested a reputable radio repair company (United Radio) that I then sent my stereo unit to and had it checked out. It was repaired for a very affordable price and shipped right back. The team at Stereo King got it re-installed and updated my speakers as well, while keeping the factory covers to keep the stock look I desired. Through and through a superb experience and will be coming back for future needs. Thanks Stereo King.

Look Folks, if you want to have a Stereo or a Alarm system on your car or Motorcycle do not go any further than Stereo King. I recently upgraded my 2009 Ford F250 Stereo system that I had Stereo King had initially installed over 11 years ago and I needed an upgrade. I was met by Tiffany as I walked into the shop who was obviously well versed in the products they sale.
I initially wanted a particular Kenwood System, but moved the higher valued system that really suited my needs. Tiffany was very helpful, in explaining the differences between the different Kenwood models and convince me to purchase the mid grade model (it was not cheap, but it was what I needed) processed my purchased and she quickly got it to the tech to install. Excellent employee.
Once I had it installed, Alec from Stereo King came out to my truck , help me pair my rig with the new system, showed me the capabilities of the new system and even showed me a new items that I did not have previously had on my old stereo system , which showed a icom on the screen when a door was open on the truck. That was new!!
Alex gave me an orientation on the systems, showed me the major screens on the system and was a professional in his approach. Additionally Alex, reminded me that if there was any issues with my purchase, I was just to come in and they would make it right, I appreciated that.
Again , excellent in their Professionalism and the way they treated me, 2 great employees. Also , I also need to shout out the installer, I did not get his name, but when he found out that my wiring system was too old to make the Kenwood work, he informed Tiffany and she got to work and got the part to him ASAP. The system looks great and the install was very clean.
Stereo King has been in Clackamas County for a long time and I don't think they are going anywhere. Don't waste your time going to any other place.

Update: So far, Corey, Anthony, along with the team there. Thankfully, there have been no issues since the swap, so my business will continue with Stereo King. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
4th time, and they have decided to swap brands because of the issues. Hopefully, this solves it. and the employees have been very professional, so it's appreciated!
Update: This is my 3rd time here because the stereo I paid and installation over 1200 has nothing but problems, so I am not comfortable with the previous review, and I'm changing it. I will gladly change when my stereo is working properly.
They were able to get me in within 30 minutes and had me out less than 2 hours later. They didn't try and sell me extra but listened to my wants and delivered professionally.
