Took our Fiat 500e in for AC work last summer. Inconvenient since they are the only Fiat dealership left in the state, but that's not their fault. Work took longer than promised, little to no followup to keep us informed as to what was going on. When the car was finally ready, they didn't even charge the car. This is standard practice for EV's at other dealerships - at least ensure sufficient charge to get home. Worst part.... months later we discovered the HV battery shield had been removed and never replaced. The screws were all in their holes, but no shield. This exposes the HV battery connections and coolant lines to road debris/dirt. We now have to order a new part and have it shipped from out of state, since their parts counter claims the part does not exist. Multiple calls/voicemails to the service manager without a response. Edit to add: Terry was kind enough to provide his direct number in response - a month after I posted this. Voicemail was left the day he responded, and days later with no response. Further edit to add: 6 weeks later and still no contact from Terry. Cannot say I'm surprised.

Just moved to Oregon from New Jersey and chose Ron Tonkin as my Portland dealer for service for my 2015 Jeep Cherokee Limited. I couldn’t be happier with their Express Lane service advisor Jonathan Plumb. He went over and above to take care of our needs and provide us with excellent customer service. We tried to call the other dealer in Portland called Time Chrysler Dodge, but they never answered their phone. Clearly not a good sign. Waiting room at Ron Tonkin is very comfortable, clean and snacks and drinks available. Techs seem very knowledgeable and thorough. Couldn’t be more satisfied.

Ron Tonkin has treated me well over the years. I have bought 3 or 4 vehicles from them. This was a recall item that they replaced the high pressure fuel pump.

Best service and customer experience ever! I am local to the Portland area and have had my Jeeps serviced at nearly every dealership over the years. Friend of mine at work said they had a great experience at this location, so we gave it a try. I called in to book my appointment and Adam walked me through the whole process. We showed up to drop off our Jeep and Adam already knew which car was ours and walked out to greet us. He had our loaner car ready and all the paperwork completed (just had to sign). This was especially nice as, having kids with us, it made it much easier. During the service, Adam called each day to provide us with updates. Upon completion, we drove back to the dealership and our car was washed and fully charged! I can’t thank Adam enough for his excellent service and thorough communication. To top off the experience, when we were leaving the dealership the General Manager came by and personally thanked us for giving them an opportunity to earn our business. Happy we found an amazing and trusting dealership to service our Jeep. We will be going back for sure. Ask for Adam when you book an appointment and you’ll have the same experience.

It was a horrible experience. They had my truck for 3 weeks after I scheduled the appointment. No one ever called me and I had to leave 3 voicemails to finally get a call back. Rebecca didn’t get back to me until I asked to speak to a person and not just a voicemail. When I finally got the truck with a 2300 bill, the same issues persisted. They also gave me a quote for more issues that the truck probably doesn’t really need. We will see if I get a call back regarding the problems I’m having after getting the truck back a week ago. I will be taking my truck back to Toyota because they have never over charged me or kept my truck for 3 weeks just to return it with the same issues it went in with.
