Very disappointing customer service experience. I purchased a tool, and within 30–60 minutes returned to the store to return it. The item was in absolutely brand-new condition, unopened and unused. From the moment I approached the counter, the employee’s attitude was unpleasant and unprofessional. There was no reason for hostility — it was a simple return. What made the situation worse was that when I asked for my original purchase receipt (which I paid for by card), the employee refused to give it to me. He claimed that I was not allowed to have the original receipt and that I could only receive a refund receipt. That makes no sense. As a customer, I am entitled to proof of both the original transaction and the refund. I had to insist and argue before he finally gave it to me. The entire interaction felt unnecessarily confrontational and disrespectful. A simple return within an hour of purchase should not turn into a conflict. Very unprofessional behavior. I expected basic courtesy and transparency.
