I was visiting Portland and had to check this place out. The shopkeepers were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the little details about fountain pen preferences that you wouldn't find anywhere else. Prices were just about what I'd expect from shopping online, so this was a much more enjoyable experience.
Absolutely loved working with Oblation on my wedding invitations! The design team took my simple proof of concept and turned it into a masterpiece! It was lovely working with the design team because they provided ink and paper samples, created many proof options for me to choose from, were amenable to adding additional items to my order along the way, and were always very responsive and helpful.
What a ridiculously sweet and positive experience! Though my purchase amounted to $7 for some ink, the gentleman behind the counter devoted a good 20 minutes towards me getting my pen to work and dispensing all sorts of tips. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this shop in the future!....
I looked for this planner for WEEKS and it was sold out everywhere. After scrolling Google for a while, I found this lovely shop that had it in stock for only $38! $6 shipping and she arrived from Oregon to Michigan in just 5 days packaged like a literal present. Fantastic local stationary store with unique items for note taking, holiday items, gift ideas and fountain pens of all colors. Wonderful place to spend an afternoon. Stopped into the shop today with family and we all loved the store. From the moment you walk into the store to the moment you leave, you are constantly amazed with all of the speciality items on display. The selection of greeting cards for all occasions is vast, with some being made by Oblation. The Oblation holiday cards are very special with special sayings and beautiful designs and colors. We bought a few packages of the Christmas made by Oblation and look forward to sharing them with family. There is a large display of Christmas decorations, tree ribbons, ornaments and cards that are all stunning. I love the attention to detail that is displayed in all home made cards. The service staff are extremely helpful and kind, it's a pleasure to shop there. Highly recommend and look forward to going back next week.
