I brought my vehicle in for a routine radiator replacement and coolant system service, and what I got was a nightmare. When I picked up my car, the hood latch was broken — something that should have been caught in a proper inspection. Worse, the coolant leaked out completely shortly after I left. There was a long trail of coolant down the street and on my driveway. There was also a strong burning smell in the air and the car became undrivable. I had to tow it back to Midas. Soon after, all the coolant leaked out, and the car became undrivable. It had to be towed back to Midas. It took over a week of constant follow-up to even reach the store manager. And despite everything — a failed repair, a tow, a dangerous situation — the manager never even said sorry. No accountability, no basic professionalism. They eventually agreed to pay for a third-party inspection, but only after I said I no longer trusted them to assess or fix anything correctly. That speaks volumes. Even though Midas may claim the issue was resolved, it wasn’t done right the first time, and serious long-term damage may have already been done: head gasket failure, transmission damage, or internal engine issues — things that won’t show up on a diagnostic test. This wasn’t just inconvenient — it was negligent, unsafe, and dismissive. I would never trust this shop again, and I strongly urge others to be cautious. This could’ve easily ended in a breakdown on the highway with my two toddlers in the back seat, or worse. All I am asking for is a refund for the negligent service completed on my car but the district manager refused because he said that in the end they “fixed” the car. UPDATE: Below you will see Midas asked me to contact them in response to this review. I did, and no resolution was offered. The district manager refused to refund or fix the botched work. Their public replies appear to be for show, not real accountability.

Came in for an alignment and after inspecting my vehicle, I needed new parts and a more comprehensive service. Alex took care of me from the beginning and was very communicative and transparent. He also went above and beyond to ensure I knew what was going on, saved me some money, and physically showed me the parts that were replaced! Midas was the most cost-efficient and reliable service center by far and will definitely return for future services. Thanks for getting me back on the road safely! (check Groupon for deals)

Second vehicle I have brought there in a couple months and their service was excellent. Quick turnaround, and they were very straight forward about what needs to be fixed and not try to nickel and dime me to get it done. Highly recommended Shop!

Great service, got my car in right away and they checked all my sensors and fluid in under an hour. They also gave me info and a timeframe of when to return to get stuff checked out.

I recently brought my 2018 Subaru Crosstrek here after seeing a P0400 code. I called and asked for a quote on an EGR valve, assuming the shop would confirm whether the part actually needed to be replaced before installing it. No one told me that they would replace the part without doing any diagnostic work first. I was charged nearly $800, including almost $500 for an EGR valve that typically retails much lower. Less than a mile after leaving the shop, my check engine light came back on with the same code. When I returned, the staff seemed frustrated that I had read the code myself, and I was told they would not give me any further information without an additional paid diagnostic. To be clear: I never expected them to rely on my guess. I trusted that a professional shop would verify the problem before replacing an expensive part. Being told afterwards that they “just replaced what I asked for” was very disappointing and does not feel like responsible or transparent service. I’m now left with the original issue unresolved, an expensive part that may not have been needed, and no explanation of what actually caused the code. I hope the shop reconsiders how they communicate with customers so others don’t end up in the same situation.
