One of my favorite garden shops in Portland!! Owners are super knowledgeable & friendly, they have everything from chicken feed & chick starting supplies to cat/dog food, garden & native seeds, seed starting supplies, indoor gardening pots and plants, local small batch garden goods, tools, literally EVERYTHING! Pricing is great and it’s such an inclusive vibe.
This store is a great addition to the ever growing Foster Rd business area. They have a thoughtful selection of plants and everything you need for home gardening and indoor plant cultivation. They carry straw year round, which is sometimes hard to find in Portland. We bought three different kinds of cherry tomato plants here this year because our kiddo loves to eat cherry tomatoes while he plays outside. They are doing amazing! Our gardening methods could certainly use some improvement, but the varieties that Susan suggested are just what we needed. We are soon to have more cherry tomatoes than we know what to do with!
Stopped by yesterday and was super impressed with the high quality of all the plants. The selection is diverse, prices are great, and I was grateful of the knowledgeable staff and the time they take to label house plants as puppy/kitty safe! I walked out with a large, healthy, and hearty Dutch Ivy and a couple adorable succulents for less that $ 35. Spring is here, Portland! If you want to spruce up you yard ( pun intended ) or just green up your apartment like I am, I highly recommend you check out this shop! (Note: the succulents in the aluminum dish and large ivy hanging at the bottom right were purchased at Left Field. )
Today was my first time coming in. There was a nice variety of houseplants at reasonable prices. I found several I was tempted to bring home. I was so excited by my choice (plant in brown pot) that I forgot to ask what it's called. I've never seen one before. It left me feeling like Seymour from Little Shop of Horrors - "What a strange and unusual plant!" I'll be sure to ask for advice if it starts asking for meat... I also enjoyed finding a pot that matched my excitement for the plant. Simple and beautiful, again, at a reasonable price. I'm already looking forward to coming back!
This place! Wow! The staff is so kind, knowledgeable, welcoming and helpful. The products are the best quality possible and the varieties of house plants are absolutely beautiful. So happy to stumble upon it today, cannot wait to keep coming back. They mentioned that they will have more veggies and herbs as spring approaches. Also, the prices are competitive (and your supporting local).
