Herm is knowledgeable and explained all the services thoroughly. They changed my oil, flushed my transmission fluid and my coolant in less than 30 mins and their customer service is great!! I will definitely be a regular at this location.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Avoid at all costs. My car broke down last month and they were the closest auto repair place, so I had my roadside service tow me there. I paid almost $900 only to find out they replaced the WRONG PUMP. They didn't write down my car's error code OR part number, which I always get on auto work invoices, so they weren't even sure which pump they installed. Also, they only secured it with 1 out of the necessary 3 bolts. I'm trying to get reimbursed. My car broke down on the freeway on my way to work because of this, and also the inside of my car has smelled like gasoline ever since they worked on it. And they didn't replace the back seat when they were done. Just left it, wires exposed underneath.
The shop was well organized with clear labelling on their various weights and makes of fluids available. They have 3 bays for service, which was clearly explained to me in clear words their technician ensured I understood. No fancy headlight fluid upcharge! Their technicians wear disposable latex gloves and remarkably tidy jumpsuits. The technician that aided me in maintaining my 07 Toyota Prius wore his name as plain as day, with a smile that could be seen through the darkest tempest. Thank you Herm, for your thorough assistance in maintaining our workhorse of a vehicle with you capable care. The tedious task of automotive maintenance was made more joyful thanks to your professionalism and passion for providing such a caliber of service.
I recently visited this Jiffy Lube location and had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever encountered. The service members were rude and showed a complete lack of professionalism from the moment I arrived. On top of that, they tried to charge me $345 for a transmission fluid change ,despite the fact that I have a fleet account and had the exact same service done at another Jiffy Lube location last week for only $185. When I questioned the huge price difference, the attendant simply said, “Well, good luck. Each location is different. Bye.” This kind of attitude and inconsistency is unacceptable. I will not be returning to this location, and I strongly encourage others to take their business elsewhere.
What a morning we had! tl;dr the service was better than we could have asked for full story: My dad was driving me to a doctor's appointment, chose to ignore gps instructions and got onto I205 and that was really bad traffic. 2hrs later it's still very backed up. So we got off and the car started having issues right away, besides it obv steaming it was sputtering along like some old jalopy. Turned around and the car stopped in the intersection. Nearby drivers were not amused. We got out and pushed it to the corner. very lucky we broke down by a jiffy lube i didn't catch their names but I got them to come out, they put some coolant in and it was enough to drive the car into the shop. they thought the radiator might be cracked but with more investigating they determined just the cap had to be replaced. while we waited I had some tasty salty popcorn and half decent coffee while enjoying Batman: The Animated Series. There was a gal who came in for an oil change and they explained that she wasn't due for one and topped her off for free, so all in all they were looking for ways to be fair and problem solve while not costing extra I don't know all the details, I think we got some oil too but while we're concerned on having to pull our savings, it was only about $70 and we were on our way. I see these bad reviews and it just doesn't describe our experience, it was a welcome help and a true blessing we got this taken care of fast and comfortably. Nothing is free or gauranteed in life, we're so thankful it all worked out because we were miles from home.
