I had some sudden trouble with my van today and immediately looked up a close mechanic that had good reviews and couldn’t be more happy! I was worried about needing the van because I have several kids and only one way to get around. This guy figured out what the problem was (a sensor had gone bad in the transmission) and had my van ready to go within a few hours. It was a super fair price and done on such short notice. Very grateful for how honest and helpful he was. Will be returning for future maintenance!

I visited this place for a pre-purchase inspection. The communication was clear, and the prices were reasonable.

J is a stand-up honest guy who will tell you what your car REALLY needs. Unlike dealers who line their pockets by pushing a bunch of untimely and unnecessary repairs on their customers. I just recently did an engine swap on a 2017 Audi A4. Now it runs like I drove it straight off the lot, not to mention they got it done faster and cheaper than the Audi dealer. I'd prefer to happily spend my repair money with J anytime knowing its supporting an experienced family run business, rather than take to the dealer and go through all the extra BS that comes with them trying to maximize profits. I was going thru a really rough, and a busy week last week and a friend recommended J here. He got my car in as quick as he could and had the problem figured out, and fixed with in 2 hours. Even though my issues was a soft brake line, he took great concern with the issue and had put my car on the jack as soon as I got in. I've had no issues with my brakes since, so I know I can count on going back to J's for anything else. The google map picture doesn't do J's frontage any justice unfortunately; You'll see in prior picture J's building tuck in behind the above house, and a used car dealership that's on 82nd ave itself. J's is 1 driveway west of 82nd on SE Carlton St
