I was forced to use a self checkout without being told I was using a self checkout (it looks like a regular employee-operated checkstand), or instructed on how to use it. Customer service has become the worst I've experienced in any store lately, because AutoZone pays minimum wage. Their people don't know how to help customers, or how to work on cars anymore, because they're not paid enough to have actual enthusiasts working in the store. I literally only come into AutoZone for items that aren't sold in other auto parts stores (like the Duralast branded Die Hard batteries), or for parts that have a lifetime warranty. For anything else, I'll go to O'Reilly's these days, because those people are actually interested in making your day better.

I came in for oil. I wasn't even looking for more than a minute before a older gentleman asked what I needed I said the type and he proceeded to ask me if I was sure repeatedly. So maybe stop assuming a female customer doesn't know what type of oil she needs. It's not as though I was there staring for a long time, I was merely trying to decide which brand and how much I wanted to spend and was debating between a quart to get me by or a gallon. Instead you rushed me and tried to make it seem as though I don't know what I'm doing.......
