Hands down, the best art supply store in Portland!! There is such an incredible variety of high quality materials in such a small space. All of us artsy folks are so lucky to have such a fantastic locally-owned supply shop right in the heart of SE Portland!
I love shopping at Art Supply Center! The selection of art supplies is incredible — everything from high-quality paints and brushes to unique papers and sketchbooks. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to help me find exactly what I need (and often give great tips for my projects). The store is beautifully organized, so it’s easy to browse and get inspired just walking through the aisles. Prices are fair, and there are often great deals on professional brands. I especially appreciate that they support local artists and carry products from small, independent makers too. Whether you’re a beginner or a professional artist, this place is the perfect to get inspired and stock up on supplies. Highly recommend!
Workers are super friendly & helpful. All of the stuff is priced at a very good deal! My only issue is that some spots smelled more like incense than others but I also have a sensitive nose. Love the scratch off tickets they hand out when you finish checking out!
My all time favorite art store. Been shopping here since the 90’s. Huge store filled with everything you need at a great price. Today I got spray paint, lots of high end paint brushes, fancy markers, watercolor paints, tie dye, ceramics a art journal, ceramics and a frame. They have a large area that does framing also. Thank you again. I love everything I got.
This is an awesome place. The staff is always friendly and nice, very helpful. They have just about everything and anything you could possibly need to do your art. Check out my pictures, I covered the entire store I think 🤣. But seriously, whenever my daughter needs something to do with her drawings and art she always wants to come here and knows right where it is at. Don't be shy come check it out, I guarantee you will leave with something you didn't expect to find here!!🤭
