Dumped tons of money into this build. Car only had 16k miles. 2023 X4M comp with S58 motor l. The shop installed fuel pump, injectors, Motiv unit, intake manifold, etc. Everything was installed by AR and car was tuned by wedge performance. Got a $47,000 bill for new motor. Think twice before getting work done here. Will be going to litigation to resolve matters.
I recently took my R8 in to AR to have my Valvetronic exhaust installed. I just picked the car up this morning and so far I couldn't be happier with it. The install looks great and sounds great. I have done business with a few performance shops in my time and AR is definitely one of the most professional. Very down to earth genuine guys. I would recommend them to anyone and hope to be back for more mods in the future!
I had another shop setup my suspension. They told me that it was as good as it was going to get and reassembled the car knowing the rear wheel bearing was shot. I took my car to AR and had them look it over and they set mine up with ease and to spec. Really a great shop that knows what they are doing. Great communication, decent prices, and fantastic customer service. I’m coming back to them to finish my drivetrain build.
Martin and the team at AR do fantastic work. They are quick to communicate, up front with estimates for custom work and let you know if that estimate is going to change. They built a custom oil-cooling solution for my car when nothing on the mass market was available and the end result is awesome. I'll definitely be using them again!
They have been my mechanic for 17 years now, and for good reason. I recently bought a highly modified vehicle and it had some issues that needed dealt with. There turned out to be two independent issues that had the same symptoms and it was fiendishly difficult to determine what was actually wrong but they got it sorted out. In honesty, I was expecting a much larger bill: their hourly rate is not cheap, but it is top notch technical knowledge on high performance vehicles. They spent some considerable time diagnosing the issue but billed for a lot fewer of those hours than they rightly could have. A less honest mechanic could have asked for a lot more and I would still have walked away happy but, like they have several times in the last couple decades, they sent me off well cared for. And super clean top notch work to boot. If you are trying to sort out a high performance vehicle there are few places that compare.
