Came out to the house in less than 24 hours notice to take a look at my car, ended up diagnosing the problem and fixing it in under 90 minutes. He only charged me for 1 hour of work, with no extra labor fees etc.. A really smart dude who will take care of you and has a passion to help people.
German was lovely to work with, very reasonable and had the soonest availability of any mobile mechanic I called. Quickly diagnosed and resolved the issue. So thankful for his speedy and helpful assistance! Helped a busy social worker get back on the road asap.
Super punctual! German came out to do a PPI for me with 2 days notice. His report was thorough and thoughtful and he even talked with me on the phone after with his own personal thoughts. He definitely knows what he’s doing and I’ll be using him in the future.
German has been great to work with. I was experiencing a shifting issue that got my old Dodge Neon stuck in my driveway. German was able come out to my house and replaced my shifting cable. He made the trip out to the nearest place that had one in stock and got me up and running in the same day. A few days later I experienced a related issue where my car would again not shift. It appears that it was a design flaw in the part. German made a point to come straight out the next day, and was able to create a small retaining ring in order to prevent the part from slipping out again free of charge. I really appreciated it as the issue didn't seem to be a bad install, but rather a flimsy part, but German made it right for me and didn't charge me for the follow-up. It can be hard to trust mechanics sometimes, but German is willing to look in the hood with me and point out what is happening. He also noticed that I have a head-gasket leak. I asked if that is something I could work on myself. He said yes, explained the process, and then sent me a guide on replacing my own head gasket by email later on that day. It's refreshing to see a true family-run mechanic business. Just two married employees! Couldn't recommend the service more.
I scheduled with Akinaspeed auto for an at home car diagnostics. I loved that I could stay home with my young son and didn't have to drop off my car and walk home or try to occupy him in a waiting room My AC hasn't worked for 2 years, and two different shops haven't been able to find why, but both guessed it was my relay. German was able to find that the relay was working and he found what wasn't. I'm so glad I didn't get relay replaced on a guess before! I found him very knowledge, kind as he patiently explained everything to me. We plan to schedule him back soon to fix what he found😊 Update: car is all fixed and ready to go! Was able to schedule an appointment to fix my car within 3 days of diagnostic (and that was over a weekend). I would definitely call Akinaspeed again!
