I took my truck in to get a new vehicle inspection done. I was told that I needed to have my brakes done. Since I can do my own brakes, I took it all apart and to my surprise the brakes looked new. When I confronted the mechanic, I got a smug smile and a shrug like "oops I got caught." I was so hopeful to have found an honest mechanic because of the reviews, unfortunately this place isn't it.

Very kind, professional and quick. My wife brought in my Tacoma the head suddenly developed a misfire in cylinder 6. I provided her all the information I had on the issue including the things that I had tried to fix the problem personally, swapping coil packs and installing a new spark plug. Neither of these fixed the misfire and I suspected that wires have been chewed by a rat or squirrel. To aid this assumption she found paw prints that I had blatantly overlooked in my frustration. Since I had to work and she took the truck in for me. Later that same day I received a phone call from one of the technicians informing me that I was correct and that they were going to fix the problem and it would only take a couple hours. I would also like to know that I used to deliver parts to this location and if a part had any flaws or wasn't " good enough " they would reject it, this tells me that they actually care to do a good job. I have sent other people to utilize their services and I have another friend who utilizes only vu car care. And from now on I think they will be the only people working on my vehicles other than myself. Thank you vu car care, you have earned my trust and my loyalty.

Couldn’t be more thrilled with the service here! We always want to take our car here. I think Vu is the most honest and reliable car mechanic I’ve worked with.

Good experience overall. They did not push me to do any work I didn't want. My Ford Focus needed a new engine mounting. The thing is, the job can be for all 5 mountings and not just the main mount. I wish I had known that and I would have changed the other 4 as well. The mountings are sold as a set and it can be done all at once. I won't be so rigid about how much I want to spend next time. They listened well and gave me quotes and advise about my other questions. I appreciate how courteous they are and I will definitely give them a positive review and may return if needed.

Outstanding! Visiting from out of state and the serpentine belt broke. Scheduled us in one day and completed replacement/repair of water pump, brackets, pulley as well as 200k timing belt replacement and a 4 wheel brake job by the following afternoon. My son had recommended and reviews looked good, communication was excellent and honest and price, while not cheap, was fair for the work done. They asked was this vehicle a keeper or were we considering replacing as far as how far to go. Would definitely recommend.
