Vancouver Transmission is the best transmission shop around! They came highly recommended by another independent auto shop that I trust and they showed me why from day one drop off. I took my car in for a suspected trans problem and they did every diagnostic possible to diagnose the issue. They were honest, pricing was competitive, and the mechanic working on my car was responsive and transparent about what he found. While I didn't end up needing much work, I appreciate their attention to detail and fair pricing for the labor/diag. Skip the repair chains and costly fixes, go to Vancouver Transmission for quality service!

The folks here are very nice. They show you the parts that were replaced and talk about it. My car shifts so smoothly that I keep waiting for it to shift. I was very happy when I had my vehicle back in 2 days, I expected a longer wait. Hopefully I won't have to go back but, if I do, I will go back here.

Joe and his team were awesome! I have 2017 Ford Expedition EL with 278k miles and had experienced problems with my car’s transmission during our most recent road trip where the transmission would shift erratically. I had gone to AAMCO and was told that my car’s transmission needed to be rebuilt ($5400-7800 😒). AAMCO only drove the car for 3 miles and ran some code before coming to conclusions that the transmission needed to be rebuilt. Doubtful, I took the car back and brought it to Joe after talking to multiple clients of mine. They spoke highly of Joe’s shop and how honest the team is. Boy, they weren’t wrong. Joe took time to pull off the pan to inspect the transmission and did research. We came to conclusion that the molded lead frame module was bad as it was the common problem with 6R80 transmission. Joe was able to secure the part the same day and got the car fixed under my budget. He even told me that the transmission is only 2 years old! I will definitely bring all my business here going forward. It’s hard to find honest shop like this one in today’s world. 👍 The car drove flawlessly for 700 miles now.

We had them replace our sons rear end in his 92 dodge dakota. They couldn't source the original running gear so we got an upgrade to a posi Trac diff. Sadly a week later the rear end let go again. It seems to be a thing they deal with once or twice a year. It could be improper break in on our part or faulty parts from the manufacturer or assembly issue, regardless the reason they stood behind the parts and replaced then no questions asked, I did have to pay to have it towed back there but I didn't care. This is an old school shop with old school guys doing the work, they know what they are doing and stand behind their work! We paid $2800 for the job. Shop rate was $165 an hour.
