This place is truly magical. It’s like this store was manifested for customers to feel seen. The humans that work there know this and want you to feel seen. Plus, Crow the cat is the ultimate familiar and is the embodiment of true magic.
What can I say about Raven's Wing? It's legendary. Is the most community focused metaphysical shop I have ever found in. There's so many great events to attend and its a wonderful collective of spiritual folks. So happy to have found it.
This place is the real deal. The staff is knowledgeable and they are really passionate about all things witchy, spiritual etc. They don’t have a ton of turnover so when you walk in the door you can be fairly sure that whoever greets you has been there for a long time and they know what they’re talking about! Also the events are lovely, very community friendly and welcoming.
🕯️this is my go-to & favorite place to get chime candles (most candles are $0.75 each and the energy feels so powerful—caring and with such a steady burn). And this is one of my favorite places to go, ever. The store curation is LGBTQIA+ friendly and feels very mindful. I greatly respect that this place deliberately does not sell white sage, but sells ethically sourced alternatives such as garden sage, blue sage, lavender, rosemary, cedar and orange. Although I am only one person in the vast nonmonolithic umbrella of people who are part of the global majority, I feel very safe here as a person of color 🌈 I love that this space uplifts GoFundMes that support Palestinian families, and shares about events and offerings in community—I highly recommend checking offerings that may change due to availability and season. I also like seeing whether the wonderful cat Crow is in common areas. It smells nice inside and I feel comfortable buying individually sold incense sticks (under $1 each)—amongst other lovely offerings. I believe there is one step between the door’s entrance and the street outside; please know you can request co-op owners bring a ramp to make entering accessible.
I know everyone has different experiences at metaphysical shops such as this one, due to differences in energies between customers and the employees, but my time at this store has been excellent. I love the vibrations coming from inside, the way that the store is decorated and organized, and the workers here were exceedingly kind to me. There are a lot of cool things to look at inside, and their library selection is rather nice, although small. They have a bit of everything a witch or other practitioner of magick may need. I would love to come back to this store and support them further.
