As a wife of a kind of shy husband who works with IBEW Local 48, I finally got the opportunity to go in and speak to a charming young lady who helped us so willingly!! Then to get a chance to meet and speak with the very knowledgeable Angie!! ☺️ She was so kind, friendly and personable!! Then onto speaking with Nick. And he was great!! He answered all the questions I had and everyone was just a joy to deal with. Granted I don't work for them, not my Union, but it's been my husband's for over 30+years !! Just such a pleasant place and experience, thank you to Angie and Nick for all the help!!

Labour union hall for IBEW local 48. International Brotherhood (and sisters) of Electrical Workers with 4 books representing sub trades for inside wiremen (120v and up industrial and commercial electrician), sound and communications (low voltage for structured cabling, fire alarm and more), residential electrician (anything non commercial or industrial) and finally material handlers. There is a NECA (National Electrical Contractors Association) training centre and apprenticeship program available at the hall campus. Registration opens up yearly or more depending on demand. If you wanted to join a highly skilled trade, this is the place to become an apprentice or take your state license and skills into a union shop contractor. Be a part of an organisation that collectively bargains for the worker.

We had our annual picnic today and it was awesome! The food, the games and all the group together was so good. Thank you IBEW Local 48!

We spent 29 years as a IBEW family. The benefits were great. The pensions awesome. Now in retirement we are able to do what ever we want.

Fantastic Local!I have two sons who are Journeymen. They both have awesome careers and zero student loan debt. I’m grateful for the Training Center and all the people who helped and taught my sons to become licensed electricians. We are super proud to be apart of The Local 48.
