Most of the reviews for this body shop are fake. Stay away from this place. Tina is pushy, passive aggressive, and difficult to talk too and work with while badmouthing other shops in the area. She outwardly called Leif's auto body "run by a crook" I Had a minor follow up issue with a vehicle after another body shop missed replacing some door hinges. After a agreeing to work on the vehicle they created a massive ruse by intentionally ignoring me, followed by continuously reminding me that working on the vehicle would be breaking their policy to someone else it's not every policy. I simply tried to defuse the situation and they made it even worse way of not having to follow through on the agreement to work on the vehicle. The shop is owned by O'Brien auto group. I'm staying away from this auto group like it's the plague because every single aspect of dealing with them and their businesses has been atrocious. Including Subaru of Portland and also Toyota of Portland. The manager, Doc, has a poor professional demeanor and a poor understanding of how professional service and communication.

Just wanted to give a huge shout out to Tina Delgado at the O'Brien/Subaru body shop. My wife was recently involved in a hit and run incident that required our rear passenger door to be completely replaced and I couldn't be happier with the service and communication that Tina provided during this process. After Tina received our vehicle she provided a swift estimate and submitted it to our insurance company - who then proceeded to drop the ball big time. They were super slow to return my calls (yes, I had to chase them after submitting a claim/police report/etc), it took them almost three weeks to get their estimator to do a comparison and finally get the work approved, and they just really made me feel like I didn't matter. Tina, on the other hand, would call me frequently to check up on things, and continued to put the heat on insurance as best she could to get this show on the road. Once things finally got rolling with the repairs she was constantly giving me status updates, and setting realistic expectations on when the car would be ready. As a family of four with one vehicle we were counting on her, and she made it overwhelmingly clear that we were a priority. Thank you again, Tina, for being such a good person and a true professional. You've earned a customer for life over here.

This review is for the Subaru of Portland Body Shop (they have an A-board with the name O'Brien on it out front: 130 SE Grand, but the entrance is on SE Ash between MLK and Grand). I had a GREAT experience with this body shop. Spencer got my car in immediately and Doc was communicative and got me checked out and even helped with a follow-up question. I went through my auto insurance, so at first I tried to go with two different garages that my insurance says they work with. Both of those garages were difficult and non-communicative. Avoid having that experience by working with Spencer, Doc, and the Subaru of Portland Body Shop. You'll be glad you did.

I went to the Wentworth East Side Auto Body (entrance located at intersection of Martin Luther King Blvd and Ash Street, not Stark street. Not sure of the difference between these two). My 2006 Subaru Legacy needed a new windshield because the old windshield was leaking water. I had a really great experience with Toby at this location. I rolled in around 4:30pm with my windshield problem. Toby immediately came over and asked me about my vehicle. He assured me that he would order the windshield that evening so that I could come in the following morning to get the windshield replaced. I came in at 10:30 the next morning to drop my car off. Toby took the old windshield off my car and even texted me 4-5 pictures of where the exact leaks in the old windshield were. I really appreciated this extra touch--it was great to see exactly where my car's issue was. By 3pm, the windshield was replaced. The price was good for a windshield replacement ($325, including all parts and labor). I was especially impressed by how quickly the problem was resolved (came in at 4:30pm one day and my car was fixed by 3pm the next day!). I also was impressed by Toby's attention to detail by sending me the pictures and how nice he was to work with. He really cared about me and my car! Thanks East Side Auto Body, I will be coming back!

I brought my Subaru here after it was rear-ended. The lack of reviews had me hesitant, but Monica (sp?) immediately made it obvious that I made the right choice. I was dealing with hassle from the insurance company and within minutes it was all handled and I was on with my day. She assured me that I’d be getting factory Subaru parts and that my rental car would be covered the whole time. Have my car back and it looks great! Thanks again!
