Great service from both bartenders this evening and the Coney's were fabulous as always. The only place in Portland that I know of, to get the (real) deal. Nick's is a genuine landmark here and a true Portland treasure. Let's hope that it stays around for many more years to come!

I ended up at Nick’s Famous Coney Island while staying nearby for the holidays and looking for somewhere—anywhere—showing the Blazers game. After striking out a few times, I walked into this place and immediately knew I’d found it. Darrel behind the bar was incredible. Friendly, locked-in, and totally present with everyone in the room. He was bouncing between regulars and newcomers like it was second nature, making sure nobody was missed and everyone felt welcome. Stefan was right there keeping things moving, dialed in, and adding to the energy without ever stealing focus. Those two work together like they’ve been doing it forever. The best part wasn’t just the service—it was how comfortable everything felt. People laughing, talking across the bar, the kind of place where you show up for a game and end up staying because it feels like you belong. The regulars were awesome, the energy was real, and the whole room just worked. Nick’s is one of those rare spots that reminds you why neighborhood bars matter. I’ll be back.

Great dogs and quick service. I had the Ol' Fashioned dog, my friend had the Chicago. Both were good but not able to be fully ate by hand, uensils were needed. The beer was fresh and the atmosphere commical, I will be back... I do suggest you use the bathroom before getting here.

Great food, atmosphere, nostalgia.. indoor and outdoor sidewalk seating, deck/patio whatever. Great people and pets watching! They have MANY TV'S, all the sports. And they've played movies for us before too. Great staff and people here.

One of my favorite bars in the NW. Very relaxed atmosphere and only rad people work here. This is THE place I go to grab a good dog and a pint while I'm in the area. The history on the walls really adds to the experience too. There's even pinball in the back. Prices are more than fair for what you get. I'll always recommend this place to anyone that is within spitting distance.
