Our group of 22 from the Oregon Mini Society rolled in for brunch before heading to the Oregon International Auto Show, and Metropolitan Tavern absolutely knocked it out of the park. From the moment we arrived, the team handled our lively crew of Mini enthusiasts with ease, warmth, and genuine hospitality. Coordinating a group our size isn’t always simple, but everything felt smooth, organized, and welcoming. The food? Outstanding. Multiple members commented on how much they loved their meals, prompting people to eye each other’s plates. More than a few of us were already planning what we’ll order next time. And yes, there will be a next time. Several of our members said they’ll definitely be back, some with family, some with friends, and some probably with more Minis in tow. Fantastic service, delicious food, and a great experience all around. Metropolitan Tavern treated our club like VIPs, and we’re grateful for a wonderful start to our day. Tip: If you’re rolling in with a crew (especially a lively bunch of Mini fanatics), make a reservation; your future self will thank you. 🚗🍳

More reviews on GoogleHad such a great time there Friday 12/26 for mom’s 83rd bday!! Although one in our party was an hour late, server Seth was so sweet and accommodating. And then my mom and I do everything family style… even French toast, vegetarian egg Benedict, fruit salad. Everyone was so sweet and let us do our thing to share plates. Even saw a former coworker Will was there.
My husband and I had the pleasure of returning to The Metropolitan Tavern last night for our Wedding Anniversary. We love the food, atmosphere and service. Our server last night was named Jen. She made our evening even better. She was attentive, kind, and amazing. After our delicious wedge salad and the "Salumi" Artisan Pizza (which were both absolutely excellent), she surprised us with a delectable apple crisp dessert. We can't wait to return. Thank you Jen for making a very good place absolutely great!
Stopped in there for lunch and a great little place. Menu is fairly simple, but pretty diverse selections. We had the buffalo cauliflower appetizer and it was fantastic. I had the flat iron steak salad as well which was really delicious. Sat out on the roof and the weather was perfect. Wait staff is very friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend and plan to go back again on the same trip.
Overall food/drinks were great. Meat was tender, fish not overcooked, mushrooms absolutely delicious, and everything was very flavorful. Brownie was delightful. Bread pudding special was, different. The actual pudding was yummy, not too sweet, but the savory/spicy ice cream and tangy sauce its paired with made it all too savory overall. Didn't feel like a dessert. Only other comment is that the appetizer needs some joujing-up. Our waiter was awesome, drinks delicious, view is great and atmosphere is on point. We will be back to try more things.
