I've been coming to Les Schwab for years. I'll even pay a little bit more if another company has the same tires fir less just so I can continue getting a positive experience. As of now I plan to always bring my vehicles to Les Schwab for tire service.
I have had 25 years of excellent service from Les Schwab.( Tires and suspension trouble shooting).The prices are reasonable and their recommendations are honest.
Bought some Highway tires at this Les schwab location for my Isuzu dump truck some time ago, rear tires, rear wheel drive truck of course. I wanted traction tires but the Rep kept telling me that it's not necessary, only if I'm going to construction sites alot and they are super loud on paved roads. I don't usually go on sites and usually stay on roads but need to be prepared for winter driving and driving on leaf covered wet roads, gravel roads etc. The highway tires were terrible and wore down fast. Constantly spinning on wet leaves, railroad tracks around the City, on turns just on wet pavement and pretty much worthless with a tiny bit of snow on the ground. This costed me money since I couldn't work. I recently bought traction tires here since the hwy tires are garbage. The reps intention was for profit and nothing else. Having horrible traction wears the tires down faster so they can sell more tires is their intention. These new traction tires are not excessively loud like the rep said they were and they obviously give me traction. I should have gotten them in the first place. They have a lot more tread as well so they won't wear down so fast. Truck tires are very expensive and for them to push the highway tires when I'm mostly around the city like I explained is ridiculous.
I bought new tires from this Les Schwab a few months ago and today was back for them to remove a screw from one of the tires. Both visits they were incredibly friendly and helpful and were able to get me in on short notice.
Completely scratched all 4 of my wheels when installing my new tires. They did not even notify me they scratched them until I brought it up to them when I went to pay for it. Take your business elsewhere. Absolutely ridiculous. Will never ever do business again with Les Schwab if they can't take a tire off without damaging it.
