James is a BOSS! My wife and I found a purchased our first home with the expert and gracious help of James. We had way too many questions and were embarrassingly ignorant to the whole process but James made it easy to understand, easy on demands of our time, and super easy to trust everyone involved. As we were relatively new to Portland, James took almost a full two days to view various types of properties in neighborhoods all over the Portland area. James was able to quickly pick up on our tastes and preferences (we're both quite picky and generally difficult in that realm) and helped us really narrow the scope of our hunt to exactly what we wanted. After a few weeks of watchful eyes on the market and some really valuable back-and-forth's with James, we found a fantastic property to move ahead with! James provided super valuable guidance on the right offer price, we made the offer that day, and had it accepted the next! James made the closing process go incredibly smoothly despite a few delays that were out of his hands. The inspection, negotiation, and titling work was a breeze and James was available the whole time to field questions - he was really happy to be our go to contact for anything despite being lots of different parties involved. While his performance as a broker was top notch and completely professional, his easy-going and conversational style made us both feel super comfortably through the whole process - no lingo or jargon, no complex policies or legalese, just a genuine guy who really wants to make people happy! On behalf of my wife and myself, we'd recommend James (and his network of preferred vendors and partners) to anyone looking for almost anything regarding real-estate in the Portland area in a heart beat.
