Ordered a baker's dozen bagels and three toppings. Picked up the bagels at 9 and expected them to be soft and chewy and fresh. Instead, they were tough and I suspect they're left over from yesterday. Also, I didn't get my smoked salmon and had to go back for it, only to discover that it's not lox (as pictured on the menu) but chunks of smoked salmon, which was good and moist, just not what I was expecting.

Reviews from Google
More reviews on GoogleI’m amazed by the range of reviews for this place, but here’s my experience as a random old lady from Vancouver: drove down with my son to pick up a Too Good To Go bag and also bought a breakfast sandwich for myself (unseasoned but freshly cooked and delicious with a little sriracha), a toasted garlic bagel with butter for my son, and a medium sized tub of scallion cream cheese. Sandwich was great, son reported his bagel was great, and I haven’t tried the cream cheese yet but it looks nice. Storefront was cute, picnic tables out front, inside was welcoming and smelled great. Two young people behind the counter and one helped me right away (it was momentarily empty, so no surprise there). They were very nice and asked me questions to get my order right. Son and I only had to wait a few minutes and our order was ready. All in all a very nice experience, granted it was about 11:30 am on a Wednesday. To the people with service related complaints—please keep in mind that it is almost always about them and not about you. Try not to take it personally. In the ten years we have lived in this area, I have found that there are a LOT of very passive-aggressive and angry people here, as well as a lot of very nice people. As I said I’m older, born and raised in upstate NY, lived all over the country, and this is definitely the angriest place of all of them. No idea why. That said, they were very nice here today!
I loved the bagel. It was heavenly. I ordered turkey sandwich and the plain butter one. But is this pickle molded or am I just not educated..?
I really wanted to like this place because the bagels look great, but the flavor just fell completely flat. I’m from the Northeast, so maybe I’m spoiled when it comes to bagels, but these didn’t even come close. The bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich had absolutely no flavor, and the bagel with cream cheese lacked the right texture and chew that makes a bagel satisfying. Instead, it just tasted bland and forgettable. They’ve got the appearance down, but the taste and texture need serious work.
As good as east coast bagel? Wouldn’t particularly say so. But for the PNW they’re yummy! I came in and ordered a lox bagel (with no onion). It came stuffed with tomatoes, capers, and a good serving of cream cheese. Also, their black coffee is good! They have wifi, although I wasn’t able to use it, since it didn’t seem like anybody was there to work or study. But their seating is good and the vibes are cozy.
