I love this Montavilla vintage shop, Copper Moon, which is just a skip up the hill on Stark for me. Owner Meg finds terrific vintage clothing - and as a highly skilled seamstress, she can alter them for you at reasonable prices ❤️. The lovable shop dog, “Zinc”, is a big part of the shop’s charm for me and as a neighbor, I always enjoy some one on one with him on my frequent visits. Thank you, Meg and Zinc!
I've found some real gems here since the shop moved into Montavilla. Great selection of vintage western menswear which can be often hard to find or often priced out of what my wallet will accommodate. Recently I picked up a new to me jacket and within a few hours one of the buttons broke off. I acknowledge that is a risk when buying vintage clothing. It's usually "as is." However I decided to hit them up on Instagram to see if maybe they had a similar looking button that could replace the one I lost. They told me to bring the jacket by and they'd take a look. That was last week. Today I picked up my jacket with a replacement button. I was never asked for payment. They just wanted to help out a customer. I happily tipped them, and will definitely be shopping there again. If you're in the neighborhood stop in and check out the shop. Even if none of their wares pique your interest, there is usually a real cute shop Corgi to say hi to.
As a large person, vintage clothes are typically hard to find and generally very unfun to search for, but I had the opposite experience at Copper Moon Vintage. They carry a variety of sizes in all of their sections, and I had a great time sifting through all of it and found multiple pieces to try on and ultimately purchase. The (I’m assuming) owner was friendly and great conversation. Even though I live in the opposite side of town, I’ll definitely be back!
A cute little gem of a vintage store. They have a great selection of shirts, coats, and jeans from the 60s/70s for decent prices. What makes this shop stand out are how kind and helpful the owner and her mother are. I’ll be back to shop around and to see Zeke, the owners corgis.
Gorgeous little shop with some really cool vintage and antique pieces. I'm used to trendy and colorful vintage shops in Portland, but this place has some really old and rare gems that would be hard to find elsewhere. The owner was really sweet, and they have a really cute shop dog 🥺 Very cozy place! She also recommended me the best little restaurant a few blocks away. I got some nice soap and incense. I hope to stop by again if I'm ever on that side of town!
