I loved this place. I'm comfortable with crochet and new to knitting so I checked to see if there was a generic size knitting needle I should start with - I love the recommendation and appreciate the patience as well as the enormous selection! They had several books to look through, accessories, and stunning yarn. I can't wait to go back!
Warm atmosphere, kind service and lots of yarn options! Will def be coming back as it's the best yarn options in the city :) Some feedback: as a beginner, it did feel kind of overwhelming! I think some signage that says "great for beginners" around some beginner yarn would be super helpful. I was also suggested a wool blend 3 ply yarn as a starter and have to say, it's not working well with me as a beginner so I ordered a nylon blend that has no fuzz. The wool is too fuzzy, gets overworked fast and splits easily so it's likely best to suggest a smoother yarn for us starters :)
I came here a few years ago and had a terrible experience, so I promised myself I wouldn’t return. I decided to give them another try recently, and I’m really glad I did. The service has improved so much, and now I come in often. They have a beautiful selection of yarn. My only wish is that the shop were a bit bigger to make room for all their customers and even more selection. Overall, a much better experience than before.
Such a lovely store! It's so cozy and beautiful. Fantastic selection. Wonderful people working here! They offer yarn winding service after purchase, which is very generous. I especially appreciate that they have a selection of Noro brand yarns available.
I’m a beginner crocheter who has only ever shopped at big box stores for yarn, but since JOANN closed, I decided to stop in here. I’m so glad I did because the staff were so helpful and friendly! I was pleasantly surprised by their range of colors and yarn types. I ended up buying a high quality cotton yarn that wasn’t as expensive as I thought it would be, and I made this top as a gift for a friend. I’ll definitely be coming back! :)
