Overall everything is pretty great! Food is served quick-service style and has remarkably cheap pizza and beer. Taste and value are well above average for Hilton food. The biggest issue is the menu is tiny, they only have appetizers - no main courses.

Reviews from Google
More reviews on GoogleRooms/Service - When we checked in, the room was slightly dirty, but when we told the front desk they said "what would you like us to do" rather than offering solutions upfront, which made us feel like we were the ones causing the headache...otherwise however, service was great throughout our stay. Location - while Pearl District is by no means the best neighborhood in Portland, it's a good combination of immense walkability and tranquility. Plus, most big chains such as Hilton seem to be either in Pearl District or Downtown, and I would pick the former without hesitation.
I had a great stay at the Hilton Canopy Portland Pearl District. Check-in: Super easy check-in process. The front desk person was incredibly friendly and full of helpful information. She was clearly busy but kept her cool and stayed completely professional. Room: The room was clean, modern, and comfortable. The bed was great, though the sheets seemed a little small for the mattress and kept coming untucked — still very comfy overall. I also loved the chair by the window; it was a perfect spot to sit and watch the city. Overall hotel: Clean, modern, and had a really nice vibe throughout. There was filtered water, ice machine and a microwave on each floor. Valet parking: It’s $55 a night, but honestly worth it given all the reviews about break-ins in nearby lots and garages. The valet system worked smoothly — you just text ahead and they have your car ready. Check-out: Make sure to get a printed receipt. My invoice had multiple errors, and it would’ve been a headache if I’d already left before catching them. Restaurant: I’ll leave a separate review for the on-site restaurant — that experience wasn’t great. Overall, a solid stay in a great location.
Stayed here for the weekend and had a decent experience. Check-in was easy, and the lady who helped us was very friendly. Our room was clean, spacious, and the bathroom was ok. The water refill station and microwave on our floor (9) were nice perks. The location was great with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. A couple of downsides—there’s no self-parking, only valet, which I’m not a fan of because I prefer to park my car myself. Also, there was an issue with our credits at checkout that took some time to resolve - don’t know how it’ll show up once it posts on my partners credit card. Overall, good stay despite the parking and billing issues. I’d recommend it.
We popped in last minute for an extra night for our son’s birthday trip to Portland & Wesley, the manager at the front desk was incredibly kind— our son had a big smile on his face as he walked into our room & saw some cookies with a card for him on the table. The room was great. We appreciate the plethora of lighting options & some of the lights having more of an amber bulb was a big plus— we absolutely hate fluorescent lighting so the warm lighting made the space a 10/10. Such a small thing that makes a huge difference. We had breakfast at Vaux downstairs, the smoked salmon bagel was surprisingly delicious, perfectly toasted with a soft crunch, all the right amount of toppings and they didn’t skimp on the smoked salmon. Our son loved his pancakes and my husbands bacon & cheese omelette was decent, nothing mind blowing but good for what it was. My apologies because we didn’t catch the names of the staff that worked the cafe but they were all working very hard to keep the space clean and get orders out. The baristas, food runner & chef were all so kind despite them being extremely busy this morning. Location was also very convenient to most downtown shops & bites. Powell’s felt like just a short walk away. Yes. The Valet parking is a little pricey but if you don’t mind a short walk, SpotHero app allows you to find parking garages with in & out privileges for a fraction of the price. All in all, a perfectly quaint hotel that is well maintained in a good location with solid team members that made the stay enjoyable. Thanks again for your services, we appreciated it.
