In 2009 my 2005 Toyota 4Runner was in a bad accident. I took it to Carstar to be repaired. They did a fantastic job. 17 years later I needed some work done on it and asked Carstar for help. Not only did they help me out, they went out of their way to fix the main problem I was having. All the people were beyond helpful, from the receptionist to the mechanic. The mechanic showed/explained to me the problem and gave me options for the repair. When I picked it up it looked like new rather than a 20 year old truck. With any luck, no one will need their services. But if you find yourself needing a shop, this is the one to go to.

Accidents happen and they do there best here to get you back on the road. The great updates helped at least let me feel I was in the loop. I had a minor accident (no fault of my own) I had to wait a little bit for the other insurance to pay out. I encourage everyone to get a dashcam it’s absolutely worth whatever money you spend on one. I worked with Courtney and have no complaints. I wasn’t in rush so the suv took a little of time to get back. I had back up car to use. I will use the shop again but hopefully won’t have a need for it.

My husband had his Tesla repaired here a week or so, and everything about the process was seamless. Scheduling was easy, communication was clear and consistent, and the service was truly top-notch. What really stood out was how well everything was coordinated. My husband drove the car to the body shop, and the rental car company came to pick him up and took him directly to the rental car, no extra steps or hassle on our end. When the repair was done, he simply returned the rental and picked up the car at CarStar Bob Thomas. The turnaround time was quick, the work was excellent, and the entire experience felt efficient and well organized. All-in-one service done right. Highly recommend this body shop for their professionalism, convenience, and great service!

OMG!!! Katie at Carstar on Sandy blvd in Portland Or was outstanding! My daughter got hit and run and we chose them as our repair shop. Close to home and not the shop insurance company was pushing us to use. Seemed shady how hard liberty butual was demanding us to use their “in network shop”. Anyway Katie when out of her way to help us. Liberty kept dicking around and even shorted payment, twice. She did everything in her power to make this process successful. Thank you Katie, Penelope was very happy and grateful for your service as well. I also want to give shout out to Veronica and Courtney, was very impressed with your ability to make us feel like family. Your guys knowledge on the repairs and advice was so helpful.
