Had my first service done and it was a great experience! Eli was very attentive and friendly. At the end of the service he went over the paper work with me and explained in great detail what had been done during the service. Quick friendly and well worth the time.

I had an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience with the service department at Beaverton Kia. I originally brought my Kia in because oil was leaking on the garage floor. The vehicle was under extended warranty for a known oil pressure switch problem. They replaced it and completed two other recalls, anti-theft device and tow hitch (neither which I asked for or needed). However, corporate pays them for it so they got paid for it. When I picked up the vehicle and brought home, still leaking oil after 2 weeks. We brought it back in and the 2nd diagnostic report said to check the oil pressure switch! They told us it was a very expensive fix if not a manufacturing parts defect or their technician's work done incorrectly. They would cover it if it was a defect. However, if it wasn't, then the tear down to diagnose would cost us $3000.00 and that is if we choose NOT to repair it! I wasn't sure how to proceed so I asked for the service person to call me back for more info if I so I could decide how to proceed. The service foreman, Aaron Strauser, called me and was absolutely rude and dismissive instead of maintaining a professional mannerism. He was clearly trying to talk down to me and speaking to me in a very condescending manner. I asked him multiple times how much to repair the oil leak if it did require additional work not covered by the warranty. He said he was going to quote me 6 hours of service for an engine take down and rebuild. I thought that didn't seem right for an oil leak! I felt that he was hoping I would just say forget it and that point. So I requested it in the form of an email so I could make my decision with numbers on paper. The entire call was horrible and I would never recommend any one take their vehicle for repairs due to unprofessional manner he was speaking. After I questioned him why he was speaking to me so rudely, he did not change his demeanor or apologize. The experience left me feeling dismissed, disrespected and completely unsupported. They got the money for the recalls from Kia Corporate and my vehicle is still leaking the oil for which I originally took it there for.

I went in for my free first oil change service where they checked and tested a list of other things - while I was waiting they sent a video of how things looked under the hood, what they checked and topped off and how they felt the overall condition was - which was really the coolest touch, I loved it. Everyone was SO friendly, usually get major anxiety doing that stuff and they made it super easy. Waiting area is nice with a good coffee maker. Veronica who worked on my car was amazing!

They are flexible. Don’t be weird and park, pull to garage, pull in slowly, park and turn off car. Advisors are all sharp, friendly and have heard it all, you can replicate the sound and they won’t laugh. Scheduling is particularly helpful and flexible. Web scheduling is easy, but if you don’t see what you need, call and ask - they work around my work schedule. Coffee in waiting room is GOOD, quality beans. I have no idea who picks the single channel on TV and then hides the remote, that’s messed up. Otherwise, 10/10

Went in for my first service appointment after leasing a new car. Very friendly and quick. The tech sends a cool little video of the inspection and explains what’s going on. Love that! Also appreciate the text updates. I hate dealing with car things, especially as a woman. I feel welcome and at ease in here. Highly recommend
