Fascinating exhibits in a historical building. Great place to bring visitors. Looking forward to their architectural walks in the city that resume in March. If you love Portland you love this place. Doing great work to help preserve our city!

I attended the Summer Soirée event. It was great. They opened a time capsule recovered from a church built in 1905 that burned down in 2023. Fun to also see the model of Portland that used to be in City Hall. Lots of cool relics & remnants from Portland's architectural heritage.

Attempted to visit during hours of operation, was closed. Waited a bit to see if anyone would walk by, never saw anyone so I was not able to go inside. I visited another museum and on my way back check in and found the receptionist available, she was very nice and informative. I'm glad I was able to see the place however it is very small so don't anticipate needing a lot of time to visit and plane something close by in the event that are locked up during their posted hours of operation.

Great work preserving the history of the area. It is a museum but they also provide walking tours. Due to Covid and the winter season they will most likely start the guided walking tours again in the spring. The museum contains space for three different exhibits. You can pay a single entry admission fee or become a member and receive free admission, discounted admission to all educational programs, members only events, and entry to other local museums. Great way to support local history
