Although I live in Florence, Oregon, I attend often with my girlfriend and now know a few of the people who attend regularly. I can keep up via Livestream Worship and Sermon feeds available on the Web Site. If you want to investigate more before coming read the many tabs on the Web Site about the church, leadership, ministries and purposes of this fellowship. If you are like me and live far away, I encourage you to get involved with a local Christian faith community and support it. But apart from this, know that River West Church is a good community to get sound Biblical teaching and share the calling to remain faithful, grow in faith and service and help to live and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our great State of Oregon and beyond! I love River West Church! The Women’s Bible Study has brought me into a closer walk with Jesus in a tangible way than any other Bible Study I’ve ever done!

Great pastors (4 of them who rotate teaching on Sundays, including one woman). In-depth Bible teaching that is relevant and actionable for life. Uplifting worshipful music . Friendly people. Incredible women’s Bible study. Wonderful pastors leading kids, youth, young adults, women and men. Lots of ways to get to know people through joining a small group or through service projects. Programs for singles, widows, divorce care, grief share, youth and young adults. No politics. Focus is on helping all of us to become more like Jesus. Nondenominational Bible teaching church led by a humble, kind, smart, funny and thought-provoking Pastor Adam McMurray and a team of elder leaders. Come join us on Sundays at 9, 11 or at 5pm. We love this church!

I really like this church. Everyone is very friendly and happy that you are there. My wife and I have been to 1 service. The message was exactly what we were looking for. Too many churches only give you the fluff, the stuff you want to hear. It does not look like River West is that kind of church, and that is a good thing.

My kids have attended VBS here for the past two summers. I'm so thankful for all the volunteers who make it possible, and the solid teaching about Jesus! But my family could never attend here because it is so loud. I don't even like picking the kids up after VBS because the volume level is painful for me. Forget trying to ask their leaders anything about the day, I can't even tell them which kid I'm getting; I have to choose between shouting and using gestures. I have also attended the women's Bible study (and been blessed by good fellowship in the Word!) but I skip the worship times because they're too loud. I regret missing the worship time, but for me it cannot be worship because I feel physically stressed by the loudness. So I attend a different church, but am thankful for the army of wonderful volunteers that serve at this one.
