Pretty good bar food and a nice range of beers available. Very much a local dive bar spot with limited seating inside. People do bring their dogs inside, so if you are allergic or bothered by that something to be aware of. Their onion rings are fab and their fried chicken sandwich is bomb.
I haven't been in Renner's since the 90's We stopped in after Christmas shopping for a late breakfast. It was wonderful. My eggs Benedict were superb as was my husband's Biscuits and gravy spectacular dish was delightful. The vibe in there is super cool. We will definitely be back as we spend a fair amount of time in Portland. We live at the Oregon coast.
An overlooked breakfast spot! Forget Fat City and do yourself a treat and come to Renners. This Portland classic serves genuine home-cooked breakfast that doesn’t taste like Denny’s.
Great dive bar. Dog friendly inside and outside. Vegan dog, salad, veggie burger, random apps all vegetarian. Quick and easy. Great quality.
Based on my experience, I can see why it's been opened since 1939!!!!!! It's one of the best burgers I've had!!
