Had an appointment scheduled for nearly 3 months. Called the day before and confirmed. Day of my appointment I get an email saying that I called and cancelled my appointment. What an absolute joke of a clinic.

They will give you drugs but have zero strategies or advice or thought about your condition. Found a new doc and discovered that NW gastro wasn’t even doing the most basic diagnostic tests on me, they just want to sell infusions with zero personalized care. Also the facilities are cramped and dirty for being in a major metro hospital. Avoid.

This has got to be one of the worst medical groups. In no other field would this kind of service be tolerated. Just because they are one of the only options, you are at their mercy. Just getting an appointment takes an act of God. Its very concerning. If they are this understaffed and spred this thin the likelihood of someone getting hurt is high. It really scares me.

Clinic smells like strong urine and there are feces stains on most of the lobby's chairs. Staff retaliates against the patient for staff incompetence, such as not furnishing the correct fax number to the lab, then bans the patient for being assertive, after the staff delays and lies about their intentions. There is no opportunity to discuss with office manager or doctor the behavior of the petty-minded, incompetent, and dishonest staff, or to ask that the recorded phone calls be reviewed. This is the corporate oligarchy alive and well at Legacy Health Systems. Staff may well be responsible for my death for they have delayed my colonocopy for at least three months by my having to start over with another clinic. Are the staff concerned with medical repercussions or with acting on their petty backbiting and contempt? Easy answer: they are concerned with themselves and their little piece of power. Oh, and be prepared for up to an hour of harassing telephone advertising while one is on hold, only to start all over when the call is transferred to one extension after another, and for not getting calls back after leaving messages, even when there is not tension.

Have been referred to NWG twice. First time was OK but the doctor did not seem really with what he was doing. The second time I was torn up and bled for two weeks. This was not my first Rodeo and I think they milk the system. Have had several long scopes w/o anesthesia, watching the monitor with the doctor and discussing the good and bad that is observed with only minor pain. Don't even want to think what my insurance is charged with the anesthesiologist. No wonder heath care is so expensive, two doctors, a bunch of nurses, when just a doctor will do.
