I love this Birthday Bakery shop, their cake is easy to eat because the sweetness is Asian level, not too sweet like american cake, and it has varieties of flavors into the cake, my fav is the durian and pandan cake. Affordable price and I've been to this bakery for many years, glad they're still doing their business!
During our vacation, we decided to visit, and I'm glad we did. I loved the sponge cake, and my husband enjoyed the cream puff — both were delicious. The sponge cake was soft, light, and perfectly sweet. My husband's cream puff was fluffy like a cloud, filled with creamy filling and topped with coconut, making it very tasty. The gentleman who helped us was very friendly and helpful, and he even treated us to a free second slice of the sponge cake. We will definitely return before our trip ends, and we highly recommend it to everyone.
I have fond memories of this bakery pre-covid when the pastries were actually FULL of fillings so I’m a little biased. The quality is good and I enjoy the occasional treat (savory and sweet) when I’m in the area. The amount of filling is probably 1/3 of what it use to be. Service is friendly: the young man who helped me today went to the back and brought out warm curry buns for me! I would love to see a return of to the previous glory that was King’s Bakery ✨generously✨ stuffed bbq pork buns and pineapple pastries but can’t complain too much since I already ate 4 of their goodies today 😋
Yummy sesame balls! Also tried the coconut topping bread, and the savory pork pastry. Also delicious!
I’d heard good things from friends so we picked out a birthday cake yesterday. We all agreed it was wonderful. A perfect sponge cake with a layer of fresh fruit inside and on top. It wasn’t as sweet and overly rich as most traditional bakers make it was just right.
