I cannot recommend Kevin highly enough. I hired him to play guitar for an intimate family gathering in fairly close quarters. He did a superb job. My family raved about his performance. Kevin is talented, professional, easy to work with, and entertaining.
My 6 year old son started Suzuki guitar lessons with Kevin this year after we saw him perform at our local coffee shop. My son looks forward to the fun lessons each week. We are very impressed with Kevin’s patience and experience with kids. My son has learned a lot in a few short months. We highly recommend him for kids who are serious about guitar and music!

Kevin is an exceptional artist and a consummate professional in every sense. From the moment we connected, he brought a detail-focused approach and he even suggested creative ways to enhance the vision I had of the music for my wedding — and he absolutely delivered. He is an incredibly talented musician and played an enchanting mix of classical, Spanish and contemporary music selections throughout the wedding ceremony, cocktail reception and dinner, adding the perfect touch of elegance, beauty and warmth. Our guests were blown away and couldn’t stop raving about his performance. If you're looking for someone who not only plays with incredible skill but also is reasonably priced, responsible, punctual, organized and accommodating — and beyond all else, genuinely cares about you and the success of your event, look no further. We would highly recommend Kevin after hiring him for our Santa Cruz wedding in June at the Seymour Center! We booked Kevin about a month before the wedding when we had room in our budget and he was professional, courteous, and very responsive to all of our questions leading up to the day. Within that short timeframe he learned two songs we requested for the ceremony and also arranged to have a violinist duet with him as guests arrived prior to the ceremony. I appreciated his flexibility with our requests and was impressed with his ability to adapt to a venue he had not played at before, definitely a reliable and talented performer. Kevin is an extremely talented and brilliant musician and guitarist. He is also a wonderful instructor with an effective teaching method. He teaches not only technique, but also theory, music history, musicality, effective practicing and building repertoire. Kevin brings a positive and encouraging attitude. He is able to adjust his teaching style for different ages. He taught my daughter and now is teaching me. He makes learning fun and enjoyable. I highly recommend Kevin as a guitar instructor.
