We would highly recommend Harka. Patrick, Sarah and Sara were great to work with, and we're thrilled with how it all turned out.

I cannot recommend the team at Harka enough. We’ve now renovated two homes with them and each time the experience surpasses my expectations. They have become friends and confidants and honestly I wouldn’t renovate a home without them. Their thoughtful approach to the entire process made our experience so much easier and stress free. They advocated for us continuously, kept the project moving and helped us design the home of our dreams. 12/10, no notes.

We worked with Patrick Donaldson and Sarah Hurt at Harka on an extensive kitchen remodel that involved moving a structural wall. They provided valuable feedback on various design options, got us in touch with an excellent builder (Hayes Brothers), and served as an interface with the structural engineers during the construction phase. We are extremely pleased with the result.

Thank you Harka for redesigning the staircase and front of my house! The Harka team are wonderful to work with. Here are 3 before and 6 after photos.

I hired Patrick back in 2009 to help build a 1700 sq ft art studio and ADU. Needless to say, this was a tricky build (well, the city of Portland makes all buildings "tricky" but that's a subject for another day). Suffice to say, without Patrick, the project would never have happened. With a killer recession at hand, I had to find all sorts of clever ways to keep costs low - Patrick's design played a major role in making things happen beautifully and affordably. I've hired him more than a few times since then, which is the real measure of a professional.
