My first visit to the restaurant was with my dad he wanted to try the dim sum. The offerings was limited to what he was expecting and he was not that thrilled with what we did get. I liked the things that we ordered, a Chinese friend took me back to this place and did the ordering for me. We went with a spicy hot pot and Grilled marinated short ribs. Both were really good, so that new experience changed my rating for this place. Which is why I have raised my stars.

Our annual trip to Happy Spice on Xmas eve day was WONDERFUL! The staff was helpful, and the food was delicious. They accommodated our large party of 9 quite well. Fun experience!

Got take out for dinner party. Food was great and there was plenty of it. We'll be back. Kids give it a 6-7 stars.

First time here. And the Dim Sum is great! Better than the other places in the Portland area. Service was excellent. Will be back again when we have cravings for Dim Sum.

I was skeptical. No MSG probably not as good. This house fried rice is one of the best I've ever had. Just enough oil to have that sweet fatty flavor. It is not too dry not too moist. Might be ranked one. The duck noodle was also very good. The skin remains surprisingly crispy.
