Location: Amazon warehouse PDX6, Portland. While on site with a non-Amazon load, I was approached by a security guard patrolling the yard in a vehicle. Initial contact was routine; I asked for directions regarding where to go and what to do. The guard then stated that earlier in the morning I had struck a vehicle on the street outside the warehouse and left the scene. I denied the allegation. The guard claimed to have video evidence and said there were scratches and damage on my truck. He added that if he showed the video, it would cause me serious problems, including possible police involvement and arrest. I requested to see both the alleged damage and the video evidence. The guard did not provide either, entered his vehicle, and left the area. I have my own dash camera recording of the event.

I’m constantly having issues with the drivers!!! Today one of them stole my packages that I PAID for!!! She lied about what time she tried to deliver them and lied about why she couldn’t deliver them. And then refused to bring them back!!! Customer service said they’d be brought back today but she refused! Jason at the distribution center refused to make her! On top of that, two other drivers didn’t deliver their packages for me! In addition to that the drivers constantly put packages in the wrong place just any old place they want where animals can get them or we can’t find them. Or they put them outside in the rain without bagging them! I’ve complained and NO ONE will fix the issues!!! I was a dispatcher for many years and I wouldn’t have drivers like that!!!

amazon AI route itinerary needs major fixing, perhaps the coders may need to QA QC their open source ai route itinerary coding, it does take a HUMAN to generate the coding, seems the ASSumption that their "great" ai technology needs to be re-evaluated & addressed, be better at proactive measures rather than reactive ideology

Huge lane to getting in and one is there to help. Went to check with the security guard but they didn’t want to help with the Check in. Definitely one of the worst places!!!

It was nice to be able to pick up my package without waiting for delivery. It took a bit to figure out where the lockers are. They are more than halfway down the building. Past the flagpole, past the big Amazon logo and under a metal roof in what looks like an employee break area with picnic tables and such. The locker worked perfectly after I figured out to hold the barcode on my phone down near the touch screen, not up near the bubble above the screen that looked like a tiny security camera. All in all it will be much easier next time, now that I know my way around. For people who work in the area, it's pretty convenient. Edit - the locker is called Manifesto - I guess they all have names.
