The venue was small but large enough for a great concert. Theater type seats and a concession area for drinks and limited food.

I’m honestly having a hard time even justifying 3 stars and not two. The venue itself is not beautiful, very ABC123 no fuss type of set up. I do appreciate the different acts they host. However the quality hasn’t been at the top. I’ve gone to a burlesque and a flamenco shows. I go to quite a bit of those and have a solid level of expectations. This balcony seating 🙄 I do appreciate the generous leg room. That’s where it ended. As you can see from the picture this is what I was looking at for an hour. I am 6’4 so have quite the clearance and this was taken at my eye level. Tried different rows with no luck. There were moments of quiet and the wooden chairs creak so loudly at the slightest inhale.

Alberta Abbey is many things, including a wonderful live music venue and performing arts center that serves it's community in so many meaningful ways. I highly recommend checking it out 🙌

Really great venue. There's a reasonably priced bar with mixed drinks, beer, wine. A variety of snacks. It can all be taken into the theater area.

Saw two burlesque shows here. Both were amazing. Fun, sexy, erotic, and entertaining. We esp loved the AfterDark show and fantastic crew.
