I’ve been coming to Agni Yoga for a few years now and can’t believe it took me this long to write a review. This is, hands down, the best hot yoga studio in Portland—and I’ve tried many over the years. Every single instructor is incredible (Leah, Roxanne, Julia, Tucker, Becca—and more amazing humans I’m surely forgetting). Hot yoga is both my religion and my workout, and Agni does it right. I genuinely love practicing the same Bikram poses over and over—it’s grounding, powerful, and transformative. My mental and physical health have never been better, and I happily make it to class about three times a week. The studio itself is absolutely lovely: spotless, welcoming, and perfectly set up for those of us who like our hot yoga HOT. Agni never disappoints. I’ve also recently tried the cryotherapy and loved it, and I can’t wait to check out the harmonic egg and wall yoga next. If you’re even thinking about trying Agni, do it. The community here is just as amazing as the classes—so warm, supportive, and welcoming. Truly the perfect vibe. ✨🔥🧘♀️

More reviews on GoogleI have been going to Agni Yoga for several years and highly recommend! They have a super friendly and welcoming staff and community. Leah and her instructor team have a nice balance of easy going and technically rigorous instruction. Where else can you get a sauna, stretching, and workout all in one? My body deeply appreciates me whenever I go.
I just had the most wonderful, intense experience. I hadn’t taken a hot yoga class in many years but thought it sounded nice after a busy holiday season. I am so glad I went. The deep stretch and breath work coupled with high heat felt like an existential reboot. I feel cleansed and renewed. The studio is nice and clean and the staff is very welcoming. I’m so glad I signed up and look forward to my next visit. Thank you Agni yoga ❤️
I don’t often write reviews, but Agni deserves this one. Whether you’re curious about exploring Bikram for the first time or you’ve been practicing for years, you’ll find a truly welcoming home here. The teachers are incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. The owner goes out of her way to introduce new and intriguing classes and weekend events that extend beyond the traditional practice. And the cleanliness is absolutely top tier. Simply put: I came here a year ago looking for a way to slow down and embrace mindfulness, and now you’ll find me on my mat three days a week.
There is nothing better than getting meditation, a sauna, and a thorough, wringing yoga workout all at the same time. For those coming for a bikram style hot yoga series, it is offered here with a few small but impactful tweaks that make the series more safe for our bodies. I find it to be a more gentle, thoughtful approach and less ego driven. They also offer a number of other practices including a wall class, vinyasa series, community activities, and other remarkable ways to explore your health and well being. It’s a welcoming community, woman owned, run and attended by kind people. It’s also a very comfortable place in which to come in and just focus on oneself. I’m truly grateful for this lovely space and hope it continues to thrive.
