Well, I guess they fixed something since the last review becuase I had an amazingly wonderful experience with a tow from A&H. Driver really had to do some jazz to figure out how to get my car out of the driveway and down to my mechanic but he did the business like a hero. And even though it was a stressful day and he was behind in getting to his next mission, he didn't rush and did it all with a smile. I shamefully didn't get his name but on a really crap day, this guy came through for me. Thank you

I never leave reviews on places, but I cannot let this pass! I just had the most unprofessional rudest experience I have ever came across and I’ve worked in customer service for 25 years. I’ve been on the phone looking for quotes today and I called this company and the person on the phone was so rude and unprofessional that I am flabbergasted! And they called me profane name at the end of the conversation before they hung up! This is unacceptable and the person that answered the phone today needs to be fired on the spot! I will be getting a hold of the Better Business Bureau and anybody else that I can!

I've never rated and reviewed on any website, but today will be my first. I had a problem with my car, and I needed it towed from Portland to Bend on the same day. I called around Portland and reached out to around 7 different companies, and not one of them helped me. 3 out of the 7 said they were 3 hours away. Alright, cool, I'll wait. 3 hours went by, and I figured I'd call them back to get an update. They all either kept me on hold or wouldn't pick up my call. The next 3 companies I called said they would tow me, but it'll cost me between 3-4 grand. Yeah, no. Just when I thought I'd never get home, I stumbled across A&B Tow & Recovery. A lady picked up the phone, and I had to start the conversation off with "Can you tow my truck to bend?" Without skipping a beat, she said,"Yes." I then followed up with."It's 150+ miles. How much?" She gave me a price that was WELL under the amount the other companies offered, and here's a kicker.... I said, "How far out is your tow truck?" She said,"He's available now he will be there in 30 minutes. " I was relieved. I then met with the driver by the name of Walter, I believe. He was an older gentleman who was an army vet. Nicest man, I've ever met. 4 hrs later, I'm at home, and my truck was delivered in one piece. I just wanna say thank you so much for helping me when everyone one else wouldn't or just wanted the money. If I ever need a Tow & Recovery, I'll definitely be calling again.

The manager answering the phone was terribly rude. They spilt at least 5 gallons of oil on my driveway (see photo) and told me rudely to clean it myself. If a helpful employee at the very least acknowledged my issue, I would have spent my own money to clean it. TERRIBLE. The receptionist is GROSS!!! They don’t care about the environment.

Shelly was rude on the phone and told me she was " sorry I was misinformed "...and the day before she had hung up on me after being incredibly rude and unprofessional. I called the Portland Police and got the number of the gentleman who handles the contracts between the tow companies and the city. He called and set her straight on the money she was trying to extort from me. Don't take their word for anything, they are liars and crooks!
